The ultimate small function band for London

The Mike Wells Band was formed three years ago, and provide entertainment from the 50's up to present day. An ideal wedding band in London and the south east will have your guests dancing the night away. As a 5 piece band, hiring the Mike Wells Function band will not break the bank.

Mike started playing drums in 1960. He was not as good on guitar as his mates, so the drums were the answer. Edgware, North London, sported many up and coming groups. Mike drummed with Paul Nicholas and the Venoms, Dave Martin & the Martells, Cliff Adams & the Twilights. Screaming Lord Sutch, Johnny Kidd & The Pirates. Mike turned professional in 1962 aged seventeen, and gigged up and down the country. In December 1964 The Twilights went to Germany. Mike stayed there until 1969.
